Location: Located in the Pudong area of Shanghai, China. Opened to the public on June 16, 2016.
Composition
The resort is comprised of three main attractions:
- Shanghai Disneyland: The main theme park.
- Disneytown: An entertainment, shopping, and dining area.
- Wishing Star Park: A park with recreational areas and natural landscapes.
Thematic Areas of the Park:
The main entrance to the park, which celebrates Mickey Mouse and his friends. It offers shops, restaurants, and a festive atmosphere.
An area that features the iconic Enchanted Storybook Castle, the largest castle in all Disney parks. It's also home to the Fantasia Carousel and several family shows and attractions.
Inspired by the jungle and exploration, this area includes attractions such as "Roaring Rapids" and "Camp Discovery"
A pirate-themed area based on the "Pirates of the Caribbean" franchise, featuring the "Pirates of the Caribbean: Battle for the Sunken Treasure" attraction.
A futuristic area with attractions such as "TRON Lightcycle Power Run," an innovative roller coaster, and "Buzz Lightyear Planet Rescue."
Based on classic fairy tales, this area includes attractions such as "Seven Dwarfs Mine Train" and "The Many Adventures of Winnie the Pooh"
Based on the popular "Toy Story" franchise, this area features attractions such as "RC Racer" and "Slinky Dog Spin."

- Enchanted Castle: Enchanted Storybook Castle is the largest castle in the Disney parks and serves as the focal point of Shanghai Disneyland. Unlike other castles, this one isn't associated with just one princess, but rather celebrates all Disney princesses.
